I trust that you have been able to follow the weekday devotions at Praydos.

Each devotion is a short 10-minute read or listen. It is not intended to replace

your regular devotional habits but can serve as an additional source of daily Bible

meditation and spiritual nourishment. My hope is that these reflections will help

build a reservoir of biblical truth and wisdom in our hearts. Writing them is one

way I seek to fulfil my pastoral calling of helping to shape minds and hearts in

Christ.

As we celebrate our 50th Anniversary Year, we are working towards clearing our

remaining diocesan debt of approximately $100,000 and, by God's grace,

creating some surplus for future ministry and mission. In July, we will launch a

special fundraising initiative which will also be shared at our 50th Anniversary

Dinner on 5 September. I mention this now as it may be helpful as you plan your

finances and prayerfully consider your giving.

We are also looking forward to our Church Camp this weekend from 12–14 June

at The Residence, Bintan. Guided by the theme, “Behold, I am doing a new thing”

(Isaiah 43:19), camp provides an opportunity to step away from our daily

routines to worship, rest, and reconnect with both the Lord and one another.

Our speaker, Revd Victor Teo, will lead several teaching sessions exploring

themes such as letting go of old methods, embracing new wineskins for

hospitality, and breaking down walls of prejudice. Campers can also look forward

to small group discussions, games, fellowship, and time to enjoy the facilities.

Our Sunday Service will continue as usual during the camp weekend. If you

are not attending camp, do join us for worship. We can expect a smaller

congregation and a cosier time of fellowship together.

From 15–22 June, I will be away leading an Anglican Church History and

Spiritual Heritage Tour involving forty participants from various parishes and

some clergy from our deaneries. I will be co-hosting the tour with Revd Peter

Cook and Revd Martin Jungnickel.

This specially curated pilgrimage will take us through some of England's most

significant centres of Christian and Anglican heritage, including St Albans,

Bedford, Oxford, Cambridge, Colchester, and Canterbury. We will walk in the

footsteps of saints, reformers, missionaries, and martyrs—faithful men and

women who proclaimed the Gospel with courage, contended for the truth in difficult times, and helped shape the Anglican tradition that we have inherited

today. We would greatly appreciate your prayers for safe travel, good health, and a rich spiritual experience for all involved.

Finally, we are currently gathering feedback regarding our Shuttle Bus Service

and several other matters. A survey link will be circulated shortly. It will take no

more than a minute to complete, and your responses will help us plan and serve

the congregation more effectively.
