Fund Raising 2026

We are launching a special fund-raising project today in tandem with our 50th Anniversary Celebration. We want to be able to pay off our quota debt to the Diocese and to raise funds to ensure that we have a healthy 3 months surplus to support the regular operations and ministry in MPCC.
What is this Diocesan Quota about? Every parish is expected to give about 10% of their income to support the work of our Diocese. The Diocesan ministry include support for our parish ministries, our schools, community services and our mission work in the deaneries. A fresh injection of funds can help us to cover what we owe to the Diocese, a sum which has accumulated over many years. In our Jubilee year, it is also good to clear all debts so that we can start afresh as we work towards our 10-year direction (2027-2037).
Currently, we are also having only a thin surplus to cover the work of the church on a monthly basis. It will be healthier to maintain at least a 3 month surplus.
The total funds to be raised is $365,000. To give to this fund, please transfer through the scan code and indicate in the comments section: “Fund Raising 2026.” This fund-raising project will also be shared at our 50th Anniversary Dinner on 5th September.
Moving from here, PCC plans to stabilise our finances such that we can pay off the quota regularly. This include a combination of steps to stabilise our costs and manage our funds more efficiently.
Raising these funds will help to strengthen and prepare MPCC to face the future years.
It should be noted that through regular giving, the church has stepped up over the years (see Chart below). This is in part a response to earlier appeals to close the gaps.

Please pray and sow into the future of the church ministry. Every dollar matters when the gift comes from your heart.
